After a few months, Tata Motors has finally revealed pricing for its Nexon EV Max SUV, starting at 17.74 lakhs for its XZ+ version and can go all the way to 19.24 lakh in the highest-spec version.
The improved Nexon EV Max electric car (EV) comes with a bigger battery pack as well as a greater range.
The brand new Nexon EV MAX will be powered by Ziptron technology and is offered in two trim options that include it's Nexon EV Max XZ+ and the Nexon EV Max XZ+ Lux.
The model is upgraded with a 40.5 kWh battery that has the claimed range of more than 437 kilometers.
This means that the Tata Nexon EV Max is the sole Indian-made vehicle that has more than 400 km of a battery running range.
437 kilometers is a number that has been tested under ideal conditions, so, you can expect the actual number to differ by a minimum of 10 percent.
The battery is 33% bigger than the old Tata Nexon EV's 30.2 kWh unit. The next upcoming model will be the Tata Tigor EV, which has a similar 306 km of electric range.
In comparison to the standard Nexon EV, The Nexon EV Max adds 70kg to its weight because of the larger battery and 30kg of additional equipment.
Nexon EV Max gets a motor with 143 horsepower that produces 250Nm of torque. The company promises the 0-100kph speed to be under 9 seconds for its electric SUV.
The Nexon EV Max gets 3 driving modes: Eco, City, and Sport. The new Nexon also includes eight new features on the latest version of ZConnect 2.0 connected car technology.
The longer-range Nexon EV Max receives a stronger 7.2 5 kW AC quick charger. The Nexon EV Max also comes with the option of the 3.3 kW charger.
