BMW i4 -4 door electric vehicle was designed on the same modified CLAR design similar to The 3 Series but with an electric powertrain

BMW India has showcased the i4 electric vehicle for the Indian market, and it will launch on May 26, 2022.

This electric car will soon be available in a rear-wheel-drive version and the performance-oriented top-spec i4 M50 with xDrive will be launched at a later time.

The eDrive40 version will come with an 83.9 kWh battery and is able to provide an output power of 335 bhp, and a peak torque of 430 Nm.

It claims to have a range of 590 kilometers on a single charge using the WLTP cycle. It comes with the same battery configuration however it generates more power.

The BMW i4 M50 xDrive comes with the same battery configuration however it has greater power as well as torque, and is definitely quicker than the eDrive40.

The BMW i4 measures 4,783 mm long, 1,852 mm wide, and is 1,448 mm tall. It is built in the newly modified CLAR design, which has been modified to accommodate its electric motor.

BMW will also include numerous safety and assistive features in the coming BMW i4. The i4 is expected to be priced around the price of Rs. 80 lakh
