Eeco has been a dominant vehicle on Indian roads, both as a passenger/commercial carrier and as a cargo delivery vehicle.

The Maruti Eeco Van 2022 is in need of a facelift. Images of the next-generation model have been leaked online.

Its unique selling points include its low maintenance cost, reliability, and practicality. Eeco is Maruti Suzuki Omni's perfect successor.

CNG powertrains are also available on the Eeco, which will increase its appeal in light of rising fuel costs. The Eeco is expected to undergo a significant design overhaul.

The Omni's strengths, attributes, and features were almost intact in the Eeco. It also added more space, convenience, efficiency, and a factory-fitted CNG option.

The leaked images show that the model's boxy design has been rounded at the edges and that the bumpers and headlamps have been modified.

The interior changes are not known. However, the exterior modifications are very limited and it is possible to infer that the interior will not be much different.

The issue could be that the government decides to make 6 airbags compulsory for all cars, once the law is passed. This would require significant changes to the body's structure.

We've witnessed this shift in focus by Maruti Suzuki, which was the largest passenger car exporter last year.

The new EECO 2022 model will have an updated engine to replace the old 1.2L G12B petrol motor that produced 72 bhp, 98 Nm, and was paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco New Gen is expected to be launched before the end of this year. The company will likely unveil the product during the festive season.
