Sonalika Tiger Electric Tractor

The Sonalika Tiger Electric tractor is India’s first field-ready electric tractor offering impressive stats that could attract the target customers to switch to an EV.

Its superior performance and environmental credentials make it an environmentally friendly choice for many farmers. It is also powered by a powerful Etrac motor.

With zero emissions, no maintenance, and no heat transfer, the Tiger is an excellent choice for small farm operators. And, it’s affordable too.

Unlike gas-powered tractors, Tiger has no hefty price tag, making it an affordable option for small farmers and ranchers. It will also eliminate the need to visit the fuel pump.

The new Sonalika Tiger Electric tractor was launched on 23 December. The Tiger Electric tractor was designed in Europe but was created at the Sonalika factory in Hoshiarpur, Punjab.

It is expected to lead the way towards an emission-free world in the coming years. Here are some of the key details that make it such a standout model.

Sonalika Tiger Electric Tractor Specifications

The tractor’s powertrain includes a 25.5-kW natural-cooling compact battery with IP67 protection. Its maximum speed is 24.93 km/h.

Designed with zero noise, vibration, and CO2 emission, the Sonalika Tiger Electric tractor is field-ready and can be recharged in 10 hours using a standard three-pin 15-amp household socket, or even faster if you have a fast charger at your disposal.

It reduces the number of trips to the fuel station. The company claims that the new tractor will reduce operating costs by offering an eight-hour battery backup.

The tractor operates with a two-tonne trolley and is made in Punjab. The factory uses robotics to build the tractor and can produce a new one every two minutes.

The tractor functions just like a conventional tractor, but the huge battery backup allows the farmer to use it for an additional eight hours in case of emergency.

It has the same power output and power consumption as a conventional tractor and has zero maintenance costs.

A convenient battery backup can help you complete your work without the need to keep refilling it. Its high-powered motor by Sonalika provides 100 percent torque availability at all times, and a battery life makes it suitable for long-duration work.

The Sonalika Tiger Electric uses a strong Etrac motor that is extremely efficient. The Etrac motor delivers high peak torque and does not drop its RPMs. This makes it easy to operate and offers optimal performance.
