The Benling Aura has launched in the first quarter of 2020. Benling Aura was launched at the 11th EV Expo dedicated to electric vehicles in Delhi on December 20 and 22, 2019.
The company claims that Benling has launched this new model, Aura, according to every Indian customer’s requirements.
One of the most interesting aspects of Aura is its Breakdown Smart Assistance System (BSAS), which restarts the scooter and runs on despite any malfunction within the system.
Benling, the Chinese electric two-wheeler maker, previously offered three low-speed scooters to India, including Kriti, Icon, and Falcon. Aura is the top high-speed model that aims to compete with the likes of the Ather electric scooter and the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter.
It is the only model available, and it comes with a price tag of 70K. This Benling Aura has a maximum output of BLDC 2500W. The engine is connected to an automatic speed gearbox.

Benling Aura Design
The style and design of the Aura is inspired by Italian scooters of the past times. It has a stylish classic look with its matte black body that makes you feel like a well-built and comfy electric bike.
Benling Aura features a retro Vespa form with handlebar-mounted round front headlights, rear-view mirrors, an apron-style front with integrated turn signals, and fixed indicator lights to provide excellent lighting even on the completely dark roads.
You will receive two-stage, comfortable flat seats to ensure comfort while driving on highways and off-road.

The cockpit is equipped with an instrument console with digital technology that can benefit from GPS as well as IoT (internet of everything) as additional features available.
It will also have a limp home mode feature that allows the driver to travel for 15 km if there is a breakdown.
The storage solutions offered by Benling Aura include a front box, under-seat storage, and a luggage rack at the rear. The seat appears big enough to seat the two people comfortably.
The footrests for pillions are built on the footboard. The back of the scooter has an oval-shaped taillight along with clear cover blinkers and an illuminated number plate. The vehicle also comes with a reflector close to the number plate at the back.
The Aura weighs at 95kg and has the highest ground clearance of 165 millimeters which is more than most scooters.

The brand new Benling Aura electric vehicle comes with lithium-ion batteries and the push button to start. Aura is powered by a 2500W BLDC electric hub motor that is coupled with a detachable, 72V/40Ah lithium-ion battery which can provide 120km of driving range with one charge.
Using an ordinary socket, the removable battery can be fully recharged in just 4 hours.
There are three other riding modes to choose from, including Low Eco, Sports and Turbo Speed, suitable for quick overtakes only.
