2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport

With an updated look and more luxury features, the new 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport makes an exciting debut. Like the full-fat Ranger Rover, the Sport has the same off-road capabilities but with a lower price tag.

For those who are looking for a more powerful SUV than a standard sedan, the redesigned 2023 Land Rover Ranger Rover Sport is worth a closer look.

We’ll look at the SE Dynamic trim, fuel economy, and the new EV range. We’ll also talk about the new SUV’s impressive safety features. If you’re a new driver, you might be curious to read our first car review.

The exterior of the 2023 Land Rover Range-Rover Sport is sleek, with sleek surfaces and a “reductive modernism” look. The exterior features laser-welded roof seams and three LR-standard horizontal lines, which create a rising effect at the rear.

The car also features the longest spoiler of any Range-Rover model. Inside, the interior is upscale but not overstated. The 2023 Sport features slimmer LED headlights and an updated lower bumper.

It also features a triple-decker effect. The 2023 Range Rover Sport features a body-color split bumper with copper accents that are reminiscent of the exterior of a Lamborghini Aventador.

The new model also gets a restyled grille with a sculpted, aggressive front fascia. The new SUV gets a complete redesign, with a longer wheelbase and a sleek exterior. Other notable changes include an available all-wheel-drive system and adaptive off-road cruise control.

SE Dynamic Trim

For the 2023 model year, the Range Rover Sport will offer four different engine options based on the trim level you choose. These engines come with eight-speed automatic transmissions, with the base engine remaining the same as the outgoing model.

The SE trim will use a 3.0-liter mild-hybrid six-cylinder engine making 355 horsepower. The SE Dynamic trim will add a plug-in hybrid system for an estimated range of 77.2 miles.

Fuel Economy

Currently, there are three powertrain options: a V6 gas engine, a diesel engine, and a hybrid engine. In addition, this new model also offers more space and is more economical to drive, thanks to its larger battery pack.

The outside of the 2023 Land-Range Rover Sport is striking with a new design that includes a sleeker grille and shorter overhangs. It also has a lower cladding finished in body color, the longest spoiler in any Land Rover.

The fuel economy is impressive for a midsize SUV, and a low drag coefficient of 0.29 is a huge plus—the interior features a new Pivi Pro infotainment system with over-the-air updates.

EV Range

The all-new Range Rover Sport will be a midsize SUV with both off-road and street prowess. It will be powered by a plug-in hybrid or mild hybrid system, and it will still come with the conventional V8 engine.

Land Rover plans to release a fully electric version in 2024. It’s currently unclear how long it will take for the vehicle to reach full battery autonomy, but the company promises to do it.

The P530 First Edition’s twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 makes 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet torque. The car hits 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds with Dynamic Launch and has an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission.

The range of pure electric mode will be around 48 miles, depending on the driving conditions. The full-electric version of the Range Rover Sport is scheduled for release in 2024.

The new 2023 Land Rover Ranger-Sport price is set at $83,000, starting with the entry-level P360 SE trim and going up to $121,500 for the top-of-the-line P530 First Edition.

It falls below the price tag of the 2022 Range Rover. The Sport starts at $84,350 and goes up the trim ladder to a P440e Autobiography and P530 First Edition.

If you’re interested in this vehicle, you’ll want to consider the price and features of the base model. If you’re looking for the best price, opt for the higher-level trims.

The exterior of the 2023 Land-Range Rover-Sport is sleeker than any Land-Range-Rover vehicle. Its slimmer headlights, concave center console, and LED signature to depart from its rivals, which have bulging fenders and clunky rear ends. The 2023 Range Rover-Sport has the longest spoiler of any Range Rover.
