With the increasing acceptance of electric two-wheelers, which is evident by the massive increase in sales figures over the past few months, companies are working on more innovative models to attract customers’ focus.

In line with a similar approach, TVS Motor Company has launched three new variations of their electric scooter iQube. Due to the increasing competition in the electric scooter market, it required an upgrade.

It is now available in 3 versions- iQube, iQube S and iQube ST, 10 different colours with 140kms real world driving range.

TVS iQube 2022 Range

The base model/ S model has a range of 100km. However, the highest-spec ST model can reach a range of 140km. The electric scooter can go from 0 to 40 km/h in 4.2 seconds.

The iQube electric scooter uses a hub-mounted 4.4 kW BLDC motor to provide enough power to complete the journey. The powertrain pumps out 140 Nm of peak torque.

Its powerful motor has been tuned to deliver a smooth ride on both busy city streets and wide open highways.


The 2022 TVS iQube electric scooter comes with a 5.1kWh and a 3.4kWh battery. The base model and the S version with the TVS iQube come with the 3.4kWh battery; however, the ST model comes with the 5.1kWh battery. The outgoing TVS iQube model had a 2.2kWh battery.

iQube uses a 3 lithium-ion battery pack which supplies the power needed to a hub-mounted motor. The battery pack is coated in a high-strength aluminum extrusion casing, and the pack is IP67 rated for dust and water resistance. It also comes with battery management software.

Warranty: The battery pack is protected by a three-year, 50,000 km warranty.

Charging Option

TVS now offers three charging options to the new iQube electric scooter. The three options include a 650W, 950W, and 1.5kW (ST) charger.

The battery will take 4.5 hours to be charged, while the latter requires 3 hours.

In addition to options, the ST version has the alternative of a 1.5 1 kWh portable fast charging device.

Riding Modes

The two riding modes offered by the iQube are Power and Economy. Users can switch between the modes to meet their preferences for riding. In addition to the riding modes, the iQube can also be used in reverse mode.

Top Speed

The ST variant has a top speed of 82 km/h, while the other variants have 75 km/h.


It comes with 12-inch wheels powered by telescopic forks on the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Both have Disc brakes in the front and Telescopic forks with adjustable height.

The rear shock absorbers are adjustable, and the frame is well set. The iQube also features regenerative braking and reverse parking mode.

The iQube’s overall shape is like the classic scooter, and it comes with certain design elements that make it feel futuristic. The kerb weight of iQube is 118kg.

The 2022 TVS iQube electric scooter has an LED in the shape of a U on the handlebar’s cowl and a stylish taillight and headlamp style. TVS has also added a long seat, a spacious footboard, a huge under-seat storage box, and baggage hooks to make it even more practical.

It also features a USB charging port beneath the seat to charge electronic gadgets.

TVS iQube 2022 Colours

The colours available for the iQube include Shining Red and Titanium Grey colours. The new iQube S model is offered in Lucid Yellow, Mercury Glossy Grey, Mint Blue, and Copper Bronze colours.

However, the most expensive ST model is available with Starlight Blue Glossy, Copper Bronze Matte, Coral Sand Glossy and Titanium Grey Matte colour schemes.

TVS has added 10 new colours to its iQube electric scooter lineup, allowing it to offer a wider choice to buyers. The new iQube ST is now available in Coral Sand, Titanium Grey, and Copper Bronze. Its new features include an upgraded riding posture and storage space under the seat. It also comes with wider 90/90 12-inch tyres.

Key Features

For features available, the basic model of TVS iQube is still available with a 5.0-inch TFT colour display and an onboard navigation system.

In contrast, the latest version of the iQube S and ST models boasts a 7.0-inch TFT screen.

The highest-end ST trim comes with a touchscreen, 7.0-inch TFT display has Alexa integration that lets one make directions to their Alexa device while at home. It also comes with a larger storage capacity of 32 litres under the seat.

For better connectivity, it comes with TVS’ SmartXonnect platform and Amazon Alexa. The users can check the state of charge on the electronic scooter with Alexa devices even while at their homes.

TVS iQube 2022 Price In India

The base variant of the TVS iQube will cost Rs 98,564, and the S model will cost around Rs 1,08,690 in Delhi. The price of the ST model is still not announced, but is expected to be in the range of Rs 1.10 lakh.

TVS iQube 2022 Booking

Although bookings for the iQube and iQube S have already started, they are not yet available for pre-booking, and iQube ST is available for pre-booking. TVS has announced that the e-scooter is accessible all across India. The TVS iQube is offered in 33 cities.

Customers can order the iQube S and iQube S online, while pre-booking the iQubeST is available. The iQube electric scooter models will be sell in 33 cities and 52 more cities.

With the brand new scooter, TVS has improved its skills compared to its rivals. But, fierce competition will continue to be a factor in the electric two-wheeler market. Other companies such as Ola, Ather and Bajaj are also developing new EVs with more range and new features.
