The 2022 Lexus LC is the fifth-generation grand touring two-door. It sits next to the Lexus LS and plays in a similar class to cars like the Porsche 911 and BMW 8-series, but with a relaxed driving demeanor.

Available in coupe and soft-top convertible, the LC is a comfortable ride, with fine materials lining the cabin. The front seats are comfortable enough for all-day use, and the cabin is lavishly decorated with fine materials.

The 2022 LC’s all-gasoline models have a naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8 that produces 471 horsepower and 398 lb.ft of torque. The 10-speed automatic transmission transmits this only to the rear wheels.

The 2022 LC 500h coupe has a 3.5-liter V6 and two electric motors. The one motor acts as a starter and primary generator, while the other drives the V6 to the rear wheels.

These motors are powered by a lithium-ion batteries. This system uses a hybrid-specific automatic transmission. The total system output is 354 horses.

Fuel Economy

The fuel efficiency of the Lexus LC 2022 is excellent, even when compared to its V8 predecessor. EPA-rated at 29 mpg combined, the hybrid achieves a high-efficiency level.

However, unlike its eight-cylinder predecessor, the hybrid LC lacks the muscular purity of the V8. As for its handling, the hybrid carves up curves with a willing demeanor. Its suspension remains flat, even when pushed, giving drivers a sense of pavement texture and tire load.

The fuel economy of the Lexus LC 2022 has been measured using the NEDC (National Environmental Driving Cycle) test. This test involves two types of driving, the extra-urban cycle and the urban cycle, and these are designed to reflect steady-state driving.

In order to calculate the overall MPG, the combined figure is calculated using the average of the two tests and weighted based on the distance traveled.

Interior Space

The interior of the Lexus LC is a highlight of this midsize luxury sports sedan. Standard features include leather upholstery, eight-way power front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a suede headliner.

The Sport trim comes with extra bolstering on the front seats. Additional standard features include proximity keyless entry, navigation system and dual-zone climate control. However, the LC’s trunk is small and lacks cubby space.

The 2022 Lexus LC is a four-door coupe that focuses on expert performance and interior space. The 2022 model will come in rich exterior paint colors, including red and orange. The LC will come with more than one trim level, depending on your personal preference.

The 2022 LC also features more than one engine option, so you can customize your LC to match your driving style. The 2022 model also features an available ‘Bespoke Build’ trim. It has unique 20-inch wheels, glass or carbon-fiber roof, and an optional orange interior.

Infotainment System

The 2022 Lexus LC infota inn system is expected to improve the current infotainment system. While this system is far from perfect, it is a far cry from the clunky touchpad interface found in its rivals.

It is still somewhat dated and lacks the sophistication and functionality found in the latest luxury SUVs. The system does work with voice commands, and it is capable of understanding natural language. It will allow the driver to control music, navigation, climate control, and more.

The interior of the 2022 Lexus LC is a beautiful place to be. It features Takumi craftsmanship throughout. It is most apparent in the leather-wrapped gearshift lever, the door panel trim in Alcantara, and the exposed Satin Metallic ornamentation.

The LC also boasts luxurious seating, which is incredibly comfortable. Its infotainment system is also impressive, with a high-resolution touchscreen.

You can also choose from an array of available wheel designs. This luxury sports car isn’t the fastest or most athletic car, but it caters to your senses and does so elegantly and luxuriously.

The price of Lexus LC 2022 starts at $93,050 for the LC 500 sedan base model, which has a V8 engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission. But you can add a Sport package for $1,900 and get front parking sensors and partial suede upholstery.

You can also opt for a Bespoke Build option to personalize the look of your new Lexus. The LC 500h convertible, on the other hand, will set you back $102,125.
